Named after one of New York's most famous streets, 5th Avenue is one of the most well known American chocolate bars, particularly amongst peanut butter fans!
This epic chocolate bar blends creamy peanut butter with a crunchy sugar candy to create thin layers of crispy, toffee-like peanut butter. This wicked peanut butter core is then covered with a smooth milk chocolate coating.
5th Avenue chocolate bars are often compared to Butterfingers, which also have crispy peanut butter cores and milk chocolate coatings. Although very similar, we would say 5th Avenues are the less sweet of the two and have a slightly 'darker' molasses taste to the core.
Fun Fact - 5th Avenues used to be topped with two chocolate-covered almonds until the 90's. Their removal didn't go down well with the 5th Avenue fan base!
